Terms of service
Last updated October 5, 2026
Chronovox ("the service") turns a short video into event listings, posters, posts, and calendar entries. It's run by Bearded Devil Manufacturing LLC in Colorado, USA ("we"). These terms are an agreement between us and you, and you agree to them by using the service. If you use it for a band, venue, or business, you're agreeing for them too. Our privacy page explains how we handle your data.
Who uses it
There are two kinds of users. Musicians record and upload videos. Managers, usually a venue or business, connect their Facebook Page or Instagram account and decide what gets posted there. Some people are both. "You" means whichever you are.
You must be at least 18 and able to make this agreement. If you connect a Page or account, or sign up for a band or venue, you must be allowed to act for it.
Changes to the service
Features may change, and we may pause or end the service. If we end it, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice when we can, and you can download your posters before then. If you've paid ahead for time you can't use because we ended the service, ask your reseller about their refund policy for that unused time.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of your videos, photos, logos, and words. You give us permission to use, copy, edit, and display them, and to make posters and posts from them, only to run the service for you. That includes:
- finding your events, and making posters from your video frames, photos, and logo;
- drafting posts, and showing the events you share on your public page and calendar links;
- sending posts to the Pages, accounts, and calendars that you or the manager of a show's Page connect, after they approve them, or automatically if that manager turned on automatic posting.
This permission ends when you delete the content. Copies already posted to other platforms or added to someone's calendar stay there until removed on those services.
Only upload things you have the right to use, including permission from anyone clearly shown in your video who could end up on a poster. Check that event details are right before you share or approve them. You're responsible for what you upload and approve.
The software, poster templates, and design of the service are ours. If you send us ideas or bug reports, we can use them freely.
Posting to your accounts
We post only to the Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and calendars a manager connects. A post goes out only when the manager approves it, or automatically if the manager turned on "post without asking me." Turning that on means you agree to those posts going out without asking each time. You can turn it off, or disconnect an account, at any time.
Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Microsoft have their own terms, and you agree to follow them for anything posted there. They can change, reject, delay, or stop posts, or cut off our access, and that's outside our control. Facebook and Instagram are trademarks of Meta. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to post anything unlawful, false or misleading, hateful, harassing, or that breaks Facebook's or Instagram's rules. Don't post anything you don't have the rights to, impersonate someone, send spam, or try to break, overload, or get around the service's limits.
Copyright and takedowns
If you think something on the service uses your work without permission, email kenneth@beardedweb.com with the subject "Takedown". Include what the work is, a link to where it appears on our site, how to reach you, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed and that your notice is accurate, and your name as a signature. We'll remove it and let the person who posted it know. They can reply with a counter-notice if they think we got it wrong. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly post others' work.
If someone makes a claim about your content
If someone makes a legal claim against us because of something you uploaded or approved, or because you broke these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs and any amount we have to pay because of it. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you help respond.
Fees and plans
Chronovox is sold through authorized resellers, such as the local business that signed you up. Your reseller sets your price and collects payment, and the price, billing schedule, and refund terms are in the order form, invoice, or other agreement you have with that reseller. Your reseller is responsible for those billing terms. Bearded Devil Manufacturing LLC is responsible for operating the service under these terms. A reseller can't change these terms or make promises on our behalf.
Plans can come with limits, like a number of posts each month. Your plan and its limits are in your agreement with your reseller. "Unlimited" means unlimited for normal use by one act or one venue. It doesn't cover reselling the service or running many acts through one account. If you reach a limit, new posts wait until your plan resets or you change plans. You're never charged extra automatically.
Introductory prices are for a limited time. We or your reseller will give you at least 30 days' notice before your price goes up or your plan's limits get smaller, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
If your reseller stops serving your account, we'll try to move you to another way of paying before we pause anything.
No guarantees
We work hard to get your events right, but speech-to-text and AI can mishear or misread, and social platforms can reject or delay posts. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, and we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business, missed or wrong posts, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the larger of (a) what was paid for your use of the service, to us or to a reseller, in the 12 months before the problem, or (b) $100. These limits don't apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Ending
You can stop using the service and delete your data at any time. Ending your paid plan is handled through your reseller.
We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, if payment for it stops, if a platform or the law requires it, or to protect the service or other people. We'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix things when we reasonably can. If your account is closed, you can ask for your posters within 30 days. After that, we delete your data within 60 days of closing.
The parts about your responsibility for content, claims, no guarantees, liability limits, and governing law still apply after you stop using the service.
Changes and law
If we make an important change to these terms, we'll tell you by email or on your upload or manager page at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service and delete your data before then. Using it after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms. Small fixes, like typos or clearer wording, take effect when posted, and we'll update the date above.
These terms are governed by Colorado law. Disputes go to the state courts in Mesa County, Colorado, and either of us can use small claims court. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. We may transfer this agreement to someone who takes over the service. These terms, plus your agreement with your reseller about price and billing, are the whole agreement about the service.
